The lodge at Belan Bluebell Woods was absolutely cozy and comfortable. I loved having my own bedroom, where I could have a peaceful sleep after a day of exploring. The living room was perfect for lounging and watching TV, and the bathroom had everything I needed. The kitchenette was a bonus, allowing me to whip up some quick snacks. it felt like a home away from home!

I wish the lodge had a bigger bathroom. It was a bit cramped for my liking, but I understand others may not have a problem with it.

Everything was spot on.

Stayed at a lodge with hiking and cycling options. They had a garden, terrace, and BBQ facilities, making it perfect for outdoor activities. Oh, and there was a hot tub!

Who needs proper directions anyway? Ended up at the wrong airport.

The location is superb and easy to get to, with a stunning view and nearby forest walks. The accommodation and facilities are beautiful, made with recycled materials for an eco-friendly feel. The shepherds hut is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with electric and heating. The outdoor kitchen has everything you need, and the shower has amazing hot water and a view. The hosts are absolutely lovely and offer helpful tips for places to visit. We also got to meet the horses! Cannot recommend more! Thank you for a fabulous stay!

The outdoor hot tub and fire pit were fantastic additions, perfect for enjoying the sunsets and quiet privacy. The location was superb, with stunning views and nearby walks in the forest.

There's not much to dislike, but it would have been nice to have a microwave and warm water at the sink. The compost toilet, although part of the eco-friendly experience, may not be everyone's cup of tea.

I keep coming back to this amazing place because it has everything I need. Free parking, fully equipped kitchen, and activities like hiking, cycling, and canoeing. They even helped me with local delivery once. Can't wait to go back for New Year!

What an incredible find! Belan Bluebell Woods is a true oasis of tranquility, perfect for unplugging and immersing oneself in nature. My husband and I spent a delightful long weekend at Idris, a beautifully designed space with an outdoor kitchen, a unique horse box shower, and a hot tub with stunning views. The owners, Suzi and Jo, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning soon!

For those less outdoorsy, the compost toilet might be a slight adjustment. There was no bottle opener in the kitchen and a few more glasses would have been useful.
